About
Light My Way Yoga
A journey back to yourself.
I’m Aisling — a mum to two, a lifelong yoga student, a qualified yoga teacher, and the founder of Light My Way Yoga.
Light My Way Yoga was born from my own journey with yoga, my body and learning to meet myself with greater compassion.
Having lived with scoliosis since childhood, I understand firsthand what it feels like to experience physical struggle and to feel challenged by your own body. For me, yoga became more than movement. It became a way to reconnect — to my body, my breath and myself.
Through yoga, I discovered that even when life feels difficult or uncertain, there is always a way to come back to a sense of steadiness, clarity and calm. Sometimes, we simply need to slow down enough to find it.
That’s the meaning behind Light My Way.
The light isn’t about knowing all the answers or having everything figured out. It represents that inner sense of awareness and connection that can guide us through life’s challenges — a reminder that we can find our way back to ourselves, one breath and one moment at a time.
For me, yoga has always been about so much more than the physical poses. Through intentional movement, conscious breathwork and mindfulness, my classes are designed to support the whole person — helping you build strength, balance and mobility, while creating space for calm, clarity and a deeper connection to yourself.
My hope is to create a welcoming space where you can leave behind the pressure to be perfect, listen to your body and simply be where you are.
A space to move, breathe, soften, strengthen and reconnect. A space to cultivate self-care and self-compassion — not just on the mat, but in everyday life.
Because yoga isn’t about becoming someone else. It’s about coming home to who you already are.
Let yoga be your way back to yourself.
Let it light your way.
